Haier Group, founded in 1984, is a fortune 500 company and the fourth largest white goods manufacturer in the world. Beijing Haier IC Design Co., Ltd. is a professional IC enterprise invested by Haier Group, and is the only video and audio chip design company. Our company was founded in June, 2000, located in Beijing Zhongguancun High-tech Park, the company's R&D personnel accounted for 80%, the company's initial products to digital TV set-top box chips, gradually developed to codec, multimedia, network and other products, since 2003, the first chip market, has sold more than 200 million. It has made great contributions to the development of Digital TV in China and won the first Prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 2017.

After 2013, the company decided to take smart home as the direction, and developed on a platform. It has advanced multiple product lines, including set-top box, smart display, high-end display, 5G coaxial broadband access and digital audio broadcasting, providing core integrated circuits, complete machine solutions and application software for intelligent and better life.

Development course

In 2000-2001

In 2000, the company was established and formally entered the integrated circuit industry.

In 2001, the first MPEG2 decoding chip was developed in China. Mr. Zhang Ruimin, CEO of Haier Group, announced the launch of patriot I at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

In 2003

Developed for satellite digital TELEVISION receiver decoding chip, the first domestic. In one fell swoop, it grabbed 50% market share from foreign companies and greatly reduced the cost of set-top boxes, contributing to the transformation of China's TV industry from analog to digital.

In 2004-2006

In 2004, the satellite digital television receiver demodulation chip was developed.

In 2005, the demodulation chip of cable digital TV receiver was developed.

In 2006, developed high-end cable digital TV receiver decoding chip.

In 2008

Developed the Chinese standard (DTMB) terrestrial digital TV receiver chip, and cooperated with the NDRC belt and Road, exported the Chinese standard overseas.

In 2009

Participated in the formulation of SATELLITE TV transmission standard ABS-S with independent intellectual property rights of China, and developed the receiving chip.

In 2010-2012

Since 2010, the company's main business is TV, coaxial broadband and digital audio broadcast chip development. In 2012, the company switched to 55nm process for all products.

In 2015

In April 2015, based on the national "nuclear high base" project, we successfully developed the digital and analog integrated high integration TV chip, Hi2610, and mass-produced it in Haier TV.

In June 2015, the coaxial broadband transmission standard HINOC1.0 chip and system with independent intellectual property rights of China was successfully developed.

In 2016

In 2016, the company's main products were upgraded to SMIC 40nm process. At the end of 2016, CDR chip, a digital audio broadcasting standard with independent intellectual property rights of China, was successfully developed and launched on a large scale.

In 2017

In June 2017, based on the SMIC 40nm process, HINOC2.0 baseband chip was launched, with a single chip transmission rate of 650Mbps, comparable to the performance of optical fiber.

In 2018

In October 2018, Hi2611, a new generation of TV chip, was launched and successfully used in intelligent TV projector, portable screen and other products.

In 2020

In 2020, the high performance dynamic backlight system will achieve mass production.

In 2021

In 2021, the company completed a new round of financing, Hangzhou Guoxin Video Technology Co., LTD., Wuyuefeng Capital become the company's new shareholders; The company has launched a smart city construction scheme based on China digital Audio broadcasting (CDR) technology and implemented it in Qingdao.
